The Mesa Boogie Subway Ultra-Lite 1x12 Bass Cabinet is built for bassists who don't want to compromise on sound, but also don't want to risk a back injury every night. Weighing in at just 14.9 kg, this cabinet delivers a sound that far exceeds its weight, thanks to a neodymium 12" driver and a musical-sounding HF driver that together produce a surprisingly full and detailed bass sound.
The sound is open, defined, and dynamic. The precisely tuned ports give the low frequencies body and depth without becoming muddy, while the HF driver provides presence and articulation in the upper mids. On its own, the 1x12 is already impressively suitable for smaller venues and studio sessions. Combine it with a second 1x12 or a 1x15 and you have a multi-dimensional sound system that fills any space.
The enclosure is constructed with aircraft-style bracing and high-quality laminates for maximum strength with minimal weight. Dimensions: 48.9 cm wide, 38.7 cm high, 46.4 cm deep. Delivered including a custom-fit cover. The Subway Ultra-Lite 1x12 is compatible with the entire Subway line from Mesa Boogie and works excellently with other speaker cabinets, provided the impedance load is correctly matched.
