Incredibly deep Flame in this 96 Drop Top with Roasted Ash Body and Roasted Maple Neck!

There are few guitar makers who have such an incredible eye for detail as Patrick James Eggle. Every instrument that comes from his hand is truly perfect down to the last detail, from finish to weight and from ease of play to intonation. But of course the eye wants something too! For this reason, Patrick has been collecting the most beautiful pieces of wood for years to use in his instruments. A great example of this is this '96 Drop Top; what a beauty that Master Grade Quilted Maple Top is! This top comes from the same piece of wood as this Macon , and just like with that guitar, we were speechless for a moment when the case was opened. The depth and width of the grain in the wood are simply staggering! And then we haven't even mentioned the Roasted Ash body and Roasted Maple neck! This combination not only looks fantastic, thanks to the lack of moisture in the wood, the guitar is extremely stable, with a direct, honest sound projection. Tonally, this '96 is extremely versatile thanks to the flexible HSS pickup configuration. The Humbucker in the bridge position has just a little bit of extra output, which makes this Eggle very suitable for harder music styles. So don't be fooled by the graceful appearance of this '96: it can bang like the best!
