The Custom 24 in Cobalt Blue: the all-rounder with a show-stopping color
There are colors that make a guitar, and Cobalt Blue is one of them. On the PRS Custom 24, this finish fits like a glove: deep, bright, and full of life in any light. But beneath that beautiful figured maple top lies a guitar that has been setting the standard for what an electric guitar can be for over forty years. The Custom 24 is the instrument with which Paul Reed Smith conquered the world in 1985, and the reason he still does.
The two PRS 85/15 humbuckers are known for their exceptional balance: warm and full in the bridge, bright and glassy in the neck, and exactly what you need in every in-between position. The 5-way blade switch combines split-coil positions at 2 and 4, allowing the guitar to effortlessly switch from full humbucker to single coil character without losing volume. Whether you're playing clean, cruising with crunch, or going full overdrive: the 85/15s respond to everything you throw at them.
The mahogany body and neck in a Pattern Thin shape are a trusted combination for those who want to play fast and comfortably. The rosewood fretboard with 24 frets, 10" radius, and the iconic Bird Inlays offers a smooth playing surface across the entire range. The PRS Patented Tremolo and Phase III Locking Tuners ensure tuning stability, even with intensive tremolo use. Glued-in set neck construction for maximum resonance and sustain.
The PRS Custom 24 Cobalt Blue comes with a hardcase. A guitar that looks as good as it sounds.
