The sound of this bass is clear, defined, and full of dynamics. The two Sadowsky Single Coil J-pickups in the '60s position give you that classic J-bass fundamental tone, complemented by the Custom Will Lee preamp that takes the tone to another level. With the switchable mid-boost at 500Hz or 800Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth, and trim pots on the back for gain adjustment, you have an instrument that adapts to any playing style and room. The VTC (Vintage Tone Control) also gives you the option to completely bypass the preamp for a pure passive sound.

The swamp ash body is compact in size, with a thicker headstock and graphite strips in the neck that drastically reduce dead spots and ensure an even response across all 22 frets. The maple fretboard with a nut width of 1¾" on the 5-string and 19mm bridge spacing gives the bass a playing feel that is both precise and comfortable. The Licensed Hipshot Ultralight tuners keep the weight low and the tuning stability high.
