Surf Green is a color with history, and on a Suhr Classic S, that history gets a contemporary twist. The familiar S-type silhouette, the glossy finish and the Maple neck with parchment detail: this instrument looks just as good as it sounds. And it sounds very good.

Three V60LP single-coils give the Classic S Surf Green its distinctive tonal palette. The V60LP pickups are Suhr's modern interpretation of the classic single-coil sound: clear and dynamic in the bridge position, full and silky in the neck, and with that sparkling, glassy quality in the in-between positions that you simply cannot replicate. The SSCII noise cancelling system keeps all positions free from the renowned 60-cycle hum, ideal for recording and live situations. The Gotoh 510 tremolo with steel block provides a smooth, stable arm response without tuning loss.

The body is made of Alder, the Maple neck has a 60's C Vintage Standard profile (.810"-.930") and an Indian Rosewood fretboard with a 9"-12" compound radius. The 22 Medium Stainless Steel frets (.055"x.090") play smoothly and are virtually wear-free. Volume, tone and a 5-way pickup selector, Suhr locking tuners, scale 25.5", weight 3.63 kg, includes gigbag.
