The Suhr Shiba Drive Reloaded Mini is the compact version of one of the most beloved overdrive pedals in the Suhr catalog. Where pedalboard space is at a premium, the Mini delivers the exact same DNA as its larger sibling: a warm, organic overdrive with a character that seamlessly integrates with tube amplifiers and follows the dynamics of your playing.
The sound of the Shiba Drive Reloaded Mini is transparent and musical. The overdrive responds sensitively to your picking attack and your guitar's volume knob, allowing you to go from lightly driven to fully overdriven without touching the pedal. The 2-position Smooth switch (hi-cut) tames high frequencies for a silkier, warmer character, ideal for those who want to smooth out the harsh edges of an overdrive. True bypass ensures a completely transparent signal path when the pedal is off.
Controls consist of Drive, Tone, and Level. The pedal operates on 9V DC (center negative, 2.1mm x 5.5mm) but accepts voltages from 4V to 18V, providing extra headroom and dynamics at higher supply voltages. Current draw is only 8mA. The robust powder-coated die-cast enclosure is built for years of stage use. A small investment for a big tone.
