Supro 1614RT Amulet Combo

The Supro 1614RT Amulet switches from living room mode to tube punch

The Supro 1614RT Amulet Combo is a compact tube amplifier that can scale its 15 watts of power down to 5 or 1 watt. This allows you to drive the power amp harder at lower volumes, or maintain headroom at 15 watts for a full, clear sound. For guitarists who enjoy playing with dynamics and overdrive, this power selection is the heart of the Supro Amulet.

At 5 watts, you can crank the amp further for a complex, tweed-style overdrive. If you prefer a cleaner foundation, the Amulet offers a rich, full sound at 15 watts with the volume turned down. The 1-watt setting makes it possible to use the amp at more modest volumes as well. This allows you to tailor the tube combo's behavior to your space and playing style, without losing the character of the amplifier.

The combo features a 12-inch Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker, a preamp with three 12AX7 tubes and one 12AT7, and a power amp with a single 6L6. The controls consist of Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, Speed, Depth, and Wattage. Built-in reverb and adjustable tremolo provide extra atmosphere and movement; the tremolo can be switched on or off with an optional footswitch. This gives you direct control over the most important sound and effect settings.

There is no effects loop; for external speakers, there are two 8-ohm jacks. The cabinet is made of poplar and finished with Black Scandia tolex. Measuring 43.2 x 20.3 x 44.5 cm and weighing 17.5 kg, the Supro 1614RT Amulet is a compact, versatile tube combo with serious headroom.
