The Taylor 224ce-K DLX Lefty offers left-handed guitarists exactly the same Koa experience as the right-handed version. With a solid Hawaiian Koa top and layered Koa back and sides, this is the most distinctive Koa model in the 200 Series. Hawaiian Koa has a warm, vocal character with clear midrange and a complex spectrum of overtones. The shaded edgeburst finish gives the guitar a retro character that perfectly matches the warm look of the wood.
The Grand Auditorium body ensures versatility: enough volume for strumming, enough balance for fingerpicking. A faux pearl rosette with a fishbone pattern, black binding, and Small Diamond inlays on the ebony fretboard give the guitar a luxurious finish. The Sapele neck feels comfortable. The ES2 pickup system delivers a natural amplified sound. The guitar comes with a Taylor Deluxe Hardshell case.
