Urban Ash and Tropical Mahogany: the Builder's Edition 324ce with a story behind every piece of wood
The Taylor Builder's Edition 324ce is an instrument with a special story. The back and sides are made from Urban Ash, a tonewood that Taylor crafts from salvaged trees in urban areas. Trees that would otherwise end up in a landfill are given a second life as premium guitar wood. That's not just a nice story, it also sounds good: Urban Ash has a warm, clear character with a good balance between bass and treble, similar to mahogany but with slightly more clarity in the high frequencies.
The Tropical Mahogany top and neck give the 324ce a direct, focused tone with a strong midrange. The Grand Auditorium body ensures versatility: enough volume for strumming, enough balance and articulation for fingerpicking and melody playing. The V-Class bracing guarantees excellent intonation, wide sustain, and a balanced tone across the entire register. The ebony fingerboard feels comfortable and gives the guitar a dark, elegant appearance that matches the instrument's sustainable philosophy.
The Builder's Edition finish means rounded edges, a comfortable armrest, and extra attention to playing comfort. The Expression System 2 pickup delivers a natural amplified sound. The guitar comes with a hardshell case.
The Taylor Builder's Edition 324ce is for the guitarist who is looking for an instrument with character, a conscious story, and a tone that immediately convinces.
