Walrus Audio Kangra: envelope filter and fuzz in one pedal for dynamic, expressive sounds
The Walrus Audio Kangra is one of the most unique pedals in the Walrus catalog: a combination of an envelope filter and fuzz that merges two worlds you wouldn't normally find in a single enclosure. The result is a pedal that reacts to your playing dynamics while delivering the aggressiveness of a fuzz, for sounds that move, breathe, and surprise.
The envelope filter tracks your attack, opening or closing the filter based on how hard you play, providing a characteristic wah-like effect without the need for an expression pedal. The fuzz section adds saturation and character to the filtered signal. The combination of both effects delivers a wide palette of sounds, from funky, dynamic filter tones to aggressive, modulated fuzz textures. The Kangra is particularly suitable for guitarists and bassists who want their sound to move.
The Kangra has a 1/4" input and output and is powered via 9V DC. Control is via the filter and fuzz parameters.
