Walrus Audio SLÖ: three modulated reverb modes for guitarists who want to float

The Walrus Audio SLÖ is the predecessor to the SLÖER and still one of the most beloved reverb pedals in the Walrus catalog. Where the Fathom is a versatile multi-reverb, the SLÖ specifically targets modulated, atmospheric reverbs that make your sound float and fade away. Three primary modes each offer a unique character, supplemented with three secondary modulation waveshapes for extra depth.

Dark thickens the reverb tail with a lower octave for a dark, ominous reverb. Rise provides a beautiful auto-swell effect where chords magically decay, as if wafting in from afar. Dream adds a pad layer to the reverb with rich modulation that envelops the sound. The Sustain footswitch holds the pad as long as you press it. Three secondary waveshapes (Sine, Warp, Sink) can be activated via the Bypass button for additional modulation character. The X knob has a unique function per mode.

The SLÖ has a 1/4" input and output and is powered via 9V DC. Control via Decay, Filter, Mix, X, Depth, Program, and Sustain footswitch.
