The Walrus Audio Voyager is a different kind of pedal than the feature-rich SLÖ or ARP-87. The Voyager is a no-nonsense preamp and full-range overdrive that does one thing, and does it perfectly: amplify and color your signal in a way that feels natural and musical. No menus, no complex controls, just Gain, Tone, and Volume that together offer a huge range of tones.
The Gain and Volume knobs are highly interactive: at low gain and high volume, the Voyager acts as a transparent boost that drives your amplifier. At higher gain settings, the pedal develops its own character with warm, mid-rich overdrive that responds excellently to your picking attack and your guitar's volume knob. The Voyager is particularly suitable for stacking with other drives or as a preamp boost for your amplifier.
The Voyager has 1/4" input and output and is powered via 9V DC. Controls via Volume, Gain, and Tone.
